Wiseton cricket club are a small club who have been in existence since 1877.  But for a brief few years where we played our cricket in the villages of Mattersey and Gringley, Wiseton have played their cricket within the within the grounds of Wiseton Hall. .

Currently we run three teams who play in Division 2 of the Bassetlaw & District Cricket League on Saturday, Division 6 of the Newark Alliance League on Sundays and Division 2 of the Gainsborough Evening League on Wednesday.  Several friendlies are also played throughout the season

We also have and excellent social side to the club.  6 a side tournaments, Twenty20 days and our annual tour which has taken on an international feel in recent years with a visit to Malta in 2008 and a trip to Portugal planned in 2009.

We are a very sociable club and cricketers of all ages are welcome
