About Us

Wiseton cricket club are a small club who have been in existence since 1877.  But for a brief few years where we played our cricket in the villages of Mattersey and Gringley, Wiseton have played their cricket within the within the grounds of Wiseton Hall. 

Currently we run three teams who play in the Bassetlaw & District Cricket League on Saturday, friendlies on a Sunday and in the Gainsborough Evening League on Wednesday. 

We also have and annual tour which visits various parts of the country.  Recent destinations have included, Whitley Bay, Chester, Norfolk and Lancaster.  We also have an annual six a side tournament which features six teams.

We are a very sociable club and cricketers of all ages are welcome.
